The Amrita Yoga Way
Life is not a
rehearsal and we only have each breath that we take to live in the moment, but maybe right now you may be short of some of the essence that would make your life complete.
I have compiled my seventeen years of yoga experience and knowledge into my Amrita Yoga Programme,which will blend into your everyday life without standing on your yoga mat.
The programme involves a full day of fun, relaxation, breathing techniques to de-stress, mindful meditation, and use of affirmations at the Loft Yoga Studio.
You will sample combinations of fresh fruit and vegetable juices thus introducing colour of the rainbow into your diet to bring vitality and good health into your life.
Learn simple yoga streches that will keep mobility in your body( these stretches are suitable for all ages ).
A fresh wholesome lunch is provided and I use ingredients that are grown in the area or in tune with the seasons. You are
welcome to take a stroll by the river Shannon after lunch to breathe in the countryside air.
In the afternoon you will learn how to massage your face and scalp, which will relieve tension from the head and upper body.( excellent for head aches and sinusis). To complete your day, you will be treated to wonderful hot towel treatment for you face and relaxation time where you will lie quitely and I will take you through a complete body relaxation.
My Amrita yoga workshop is a special treat for everybody who would like to step out of this hectic lifestyle and enjoy simple basic facts in well-being, nutrition and lifestyle.

A Typical Amrita Day:
Welcome to my Amrita yoga day where you will enjoy the
benefits of yoga stretching, breathing and relaxation. You will learn
how to practice mindful meditation, living in the moment and keeping
life as simple as possible. The day also includes lunch, where you can
sample an array of vegetarian dishes. Facial exercises and a
self-facial massage to keep you looking young and vibrant. This day is
the beginnings of the rest of your life so allow Amrita yoga to blend
into your day.
The day begins as follows:
| 10:00 | Introduction to Amrita yoga. Pranayama- breath awareness and the importance of breath control. Yoga stretches, simple movements to keep all the joints in the body mobile and healthy. |
| 11.00 | Learn simple ways to meditate and how to live in the moment. |
| 12:00 | Juicing lesson, allowing you to sample fruit and vegatables juices, and learn the immense benifits of juicing . |
| 13:00 | Lunch. Enjoy a variety of freshly cooked dishes and deserts and maybe a walk by the river Shannon, weather permitting. |

Self face massage. This will be the highlight of our day but be prepared for a surprise, as you will be giving your face a good workout. Hot towel treatment. |
| 14.30 | A complete wind down with yoga nidra which is an ancient yoga practice including visualisation techniques and relaxation to release tension out of the body. |
| 15.00 | Finish and home. |
